It Is Autumn

Yet another symphonic-style track. Although rock is closest to my heart, the experience of having written lyrics that are then performed—in a way so powerful that you simply have to listen—is profound. The sheer number of details, the variations in intensity and tenderness, and the breadth of the tonal range leave me in awe of the orchestra. The concert flute and the French horn remain favorites of mine; after all, who could forget Ian Anderson and Jethro Tull from the 70s and 80s? The flute found its way into the world of rock and has left an indelible mark on my memory! And, of course, a rock version is coming—I promise!
